"Any time women come together with a collective intention, it's a powerful thing. Whether it's sitting down making a quilt, in a kitchen preparing a meal, in a club reading the same book, or around the table playing cards, or planning a birthday party, when women come together with a collective intention, magic happens."

I believe if we remember and share our stories, we can change the world. But remembering isn't always easy, sharing can be hard, and remembering to share next to impossible. Our daughters need our stories. Our sons need our stories. And truthfully, the preservation of the world may depend upon them. It has been said that if you educate girls you can change the world. I look at what's happening in the world today, and can't help but wonder how it would be different if women's stories were valued by the men in positions to stop all this violence.
Okay, about me ... I think that's what this page is supposed to convey! I'm a Mom ... the world's hardest and most rewarding job. I'm a lawyer, though I haven't practiced in a decade. I'm a student of spiritual history and practice. And I'm a teacher and practitioner of mindfulness. (And with this blog, I guess I can officially add "writer" to the list!)
Here's my Lawyer side: I do hold the copyright on all stories published by me, and am not responsible for the copyright on any stories contributed by my dear readers!
Here's my Student: I can't wait to learn from you, dear readers!
Here's my Mom: Go hug your kids ... today's hug may be the one they tear up remembering as adults.
Here's my Teacher: AUMMMMMMMM.
